Luke & Hannah’s Colorful Northern Wisconsin Wedding at Rondele Ranch

Luke and Hannah’s love story is a pretty perfect example of how the Northwoods can bring people together.
Neither of them is originally from Northern Wisconsin, but after living up here for several years, they met on Bumble (we LOVE a successful dating app story). Two years later, they bought a house together, and two years after that, they got married! Since June is already a big month for them, their June 13th wedding made the month even more special.
They started the day getting ready with Jessica at The Beauty Co doing hair and Erin Elizabeth Korthoff doing makeup. From there, they headed to Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church in Rhinelander for the ceremony before celebrating at The Graham Center at Rondele Ranch in Harshaw for the reception.
Photography & Videography by Superior Sunset Studio The wedding had a minimalistic feel with plenty of personality. They went with royal blue bridesmaid dresses, bright pops of color, and gold accents. Floral arrangements were created by Rosebitten Flower Studio, while the groom and his guys were dressed with Ross Sportswear and Hannah found her dress at Lund & Taylor Bridal Gallerie.
And the little details were some of the best parts.
Hannah honored her grandmothers with “memory butterflies” attached to her dress by each of her parents. Her veil from Blanca Veils featured the words “and the two shall become one” along with their wedding date. Their dogs also made an appearance through two signature cocktails: “One by Our Side” and “One in Our Hearts.”
The couple wanted to make sure they got a photo with every table during the reception, which they planned to include with their thank-you cards. They also had a fun surprise for the six engaged couples attending their wedding. Each couple received a ring pop with a little sign that said, “You’re next!”
And of course, there was plenty of good food! Reuland’s Catering served appetizers including meatballs, bacon-wrapped sausage, a cheese, meat and cracker assortment, and a variety of dips. For dinner, guests could choose between chicken or pork fillet fresh off the grill, along with mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and fresh fruit.
Music was a huge part of the celebration, too. Tony Sabo’s two-piece polka band played during the reception, while acoustic guitarist and DJ Phil Norby learned and played Luke and Hannah’s first dance song, Right Where I Need to Be by Gary Allan, along with their father-daughter and mother-son dance songs.
Guests could also have their portraits drawn by live guest illustrator, Art by Brandee Cedar Marie Benson, giving everyone the chance to leave with a fun keepsake from the day.
For dessert, Luke and Hannah had a small cake for themselves and cupcakes for guests in caramel apple, vanilla, and chocolate. Everything was baked by Bluebird Bakes.
One of the things that meant the most to Luke and Hannah was having around 180 guests there to celebrate with them. Many of their guests traveled several hours to get to Northern Wisconsin, making it even more special to have so many of their favorite people together in one place. A big thank you to Nick Peter Weddings + Events for helping bring all the details together and keeping the day running smoothly!
Their biggest piece of advice for other couples?
“Don’t sweat the small stuff and try to enjoy the process because once it is over you might actually miss it!”
Honestly, we couldn’t agree more. Congratulations to the beautiful couple!
