I created The Up North Bride to help connect couples with local wedding vendors across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula (where I grew up), Northern Wisconsin, and the surrounding Great Lakes islands.

 

After 10 years as a hair and makeup artist in the wedding industry, I know how frustrating it can be to plan in such a spread out area. Vendors can be hard to find, and everything often feels disconnected and time consuming to piece together.

This platform was built to make that easier by bringing local vendors into one place and helping couples see who is actually available up north.
