I created The Up North Bride to connect couples with local wedding vendors across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula (where I grew up), Northern Wisconsin, and the surrounding Great Lakes islands.

With 10 years of experience in the wedding industry as a hair and makeup artist, I’ve seen how important it is for couples to easily find and book the right creative team for their day. Alongside my work in hair and makeup, I’ve always been drawn to entrepreneurship and building connections within local communities.

The Up North Bride was built to simplify wedding planning while showcasing the vendors, landscapes, and people that make weddings up north so special. My goal is to make the process easier, more organized, and still inspiring at every step.
