A quick update - The Up North Bride now has over 140 wedding vendors across Northern Wisconsin, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and the surrounding Great Lakes islands.
The goal from the start was to make it easier to plan a wedding up here without digging through outdated websites and tons of wedding Facebook groups. This is a solid step in that direction.
Why This Matters
Planning a wedding in the Northwoods is just different and vendors are more spread out, a lot of the best ones don’t show up in a quick search, and it can take way longer than it should to piece together a reliable team.
The directory is built to simplify that, so you can actually find vendors who work in this region.
Vendor Categories Now Available
The directory has expanded to cover most of what you need to plan a wedding from start to finish:
Venues
Photographers + Videographers
Wedding Planners + Coordinators
Florists
Caterers + Bar Services
Hair & Makeup Artists
Bakeries + Desserts
Rentals + Event Decor
DJs + Live Music
Officiants
Transportation
Live Wedding Artists
Dance Lessons
Flower Preservation
and more!
New categories and vendors are still being added, but at this point, you can realistically start building your full vendor team in one place.

For Vendors
If you’re a wedding vendor in Northern Wisconsin or the Upper Peninsula (or regularly travel to serve this region), The Up North Bride is continuing to grow and expand.
We’ve recently moved to an annual membership model designed for serious, established vendors who want to be featured and grow their visibility. There are three tier options available, each with different levels of exposure and benefits.
Every membership includes a 30-day free trial so you can explore the platform before committing. To join, visit here.
