Hannah + Justin’s Welcome Party at Dillman’s Bay Resort
August 28th, 2026 | Dillman's Bay Resort | Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin Before their summer camp-inspired wedding day, Hannah and Justin kicked off their wedding weekend with a welcome party at Dillman’s Bay Resort in Northern Wisconsin.
So much of the weekend was handmade or created with the help of friends and family. The flags strung above the welcome party were made by Hannah and her girlfriends and had previously been used for a baby shower. The couple hopes to eventually pass some along to their nephew, who they’re expecting at the end of October.
Hannah and Justin also designed all of their own signage, while the dinner menus were a nod to their backgrounds in the restaurant industry.

The weekend was truly a labor of love, with friends and family putting in countless hours to bring Hannah and Justin’s vision to life. Their wedding party, which included a group of chefs, helped prep food for the welcome party, cocktail hour, and late-night snacks, while a friend flew all the way from Hawaii to serve as their wedding planner for the weekend.
With the same beautiful setting and photographer carrying through to the wedding day, the evening was a chance for the couple and their guests to gather, celebrate, and settle into the weekend together. Surrounded by the lake and Northwoods scenery, it was the perfect beginning to a wedding weekend at Dillman’s Bay Resort.
